Olmert Supporters Angered by Livni’s Silence

(IsraelNN.com) Sources close to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert slammed Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni in various media outlets on Sunday for her failure to vocally support Olmert in the face of allegations of corruption. Other Kadima ministers, including Chaim Ramon, Meir Sheetrit and Shaul Mofaz, spoke in support of Olmert on Sunday, saying he should be considered innocent until proven guilty.

Olmert is currently under investigation in four cases, including recently revealed allegations of bribery. Livni has been quietly touted as a possible replacement in case Olmert resigns.
