(IsraelNN.com) A cartoon produced by a group of Gaza women describes Jews as “enemies of the religion and enemies of the homeland.” The film, called “The Tale of a Key,” is meant to portray the War of Independence and the flight of hundreds of thousands of Arabs during the fighting.

The film’s creators say the 32-minute cartoon is for adults as well as children. Most residents of Gaza claim descent from Arabs who fled other parts of Israel, and Hamas leaders insist that all be allowed to “return” to the Israeli cities they see as their home.

The movie shows Jews murdering Arabs and bombing their towns. The film’s creators insisted that the images were not meant as incitement, and said the tales of shootings and bombings were based on “facts as we heard them from our grandfathers and grandmothers.”
