(IsraelNN.com) Some Cabinet ministers said Sunday they supported Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's decision to remain at his post for the time being despite the numerous investigations against him.

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, however, was quiet as others voiced their support. Public Security Minister Avi Dichter meanwhile called on his colleagues not to "speak badly" of the police and staff members at the State Prosecutor's Office, who he noted "act professionally" in carrying out their duties. Transporation Minister Shaul Mofaz said the Prime Minister "has the right to be presumed innocent like any other citizen; he is innocent unless proven otherwise. His speech on Thursday was clear."

Olmert said Thursday night that he would resign immediately if Attorney-General Menachem Mazuz decides to indict him on any of the allegations against him.
