Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman and Knesset Member Avigdor Lieberman called Sunday morning for an urgent meeting by all relevant government bodies to discuss the situation in Lebanon.

"Hizbullah's coup in Lebanon proves that Iran has completed the construction of two advanced posts close to Israel – Lebanon and Gaza," said Lieberman. "The situation requires special preparations by the defense establishment, the IDF, the government and the Knesset," he warned.

Lieberman said he would ask Knesset Member Tzachi HaNegbi, Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, to convene a meeting on the issue immediately.
