A cafe in Dir el-Balah, Gaza, was destroyed in an explosion on Saturday morning, according to local news sources. The cafe was one of several dozen Gaza businesses to be bombed since the Hamas takeover last year.

New terrorist groups calling themselves defenders of Islam began attacking cafes, pharmacies, and businesses with Internet access last year. In addition, women’s groups say the new terrorist groups have carried out several “honor killings,” murdering women accused of immodest behavior.

Gaza police said the cafe destroyed over the weekend may have been targeted because it used to contain a large television set. Several other buildings were damaged in the explosion.
