Social workers employed by cities throughout the country will refuse to deal with new cases on Sunday as part of ongoing sanctions. The workers will also refuse to deal with the elderly or youth at risk, and will not submit expert opinions to the court system.
The workers say they are unable to give appropriate care due to their heavy workload. They are calling on the government to hire more social workers.
Employment offices will continue sanctions on Sunday as well. Workers will not deal with the public on Sunday and will not answer phones.
