Arab organizations in the U.S. have mounted a media campaign calling for a boycott of jewelry stores owned by Israeli businessman Lev Levayev, because he invests in projects in Judea and Samaria.
The boycott attempt is timed for the upcoming Mother's Day, a time of year during which jewelry stores do some of their best business.
Levayev's exclusive jewelry store on Madison Ave. in New York City has become a favored target of pro-Arab groups' protests. In addition, a petition to boycott Levayev's stores is being circulated through the internet.
