Police, Mazuz Decide to Reduce Gag Order (IsraelNN.com) Police officials met with Attorney General Menachem Mazuz on Thursday night and agreed to partially lift the gag order on the latest allegations against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. A Tel Aviv court is expected to approve the agreement in the upcoming hour. Some details of the case will remain under wraps, officials said. Israeli media outlets have been forbidden to publish information regarding the case for the past several days, despite the fact that information has been readily available in foreign media. Prime Minister’s Office officials said Thursday night that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert would issue a statement if and when the court approved the agreement and allowed new details of the case to be published. ![]() © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
