Update: 6 Hurt In Parachute Accident at Tel Aviv Beach

(IsraelNN.com) Six people were hurt and two of them are said to be in moderate to serious condition following an accident involving a parachutist who participated in the IAF's Independence Day show on Tel Aviv's Jerusalem Beach Wednesday. Police said that the two people who suffered moderate to serious injuries are the parachutist and a female spectator.
The parachutist landed badly – possibly due to a gust of wind – and struck the front line of the spectators on the beach. All of the wounded are conscious.
The parachutists who participated in the event are all IAF reservists who underwent training for the air show.
