(IsraelNN.com) As most Israelis celebrate Independence Day with barbeques and tours, Land of Israel activists are planning to stand up for Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria by strengthening several new communities and showing a Jewish presence on nearby mountaintops. The initiative is being run by the Loyalists for the Land of Israel, Youth for the Land of Israel, Women in Green, and Adamah Admati.

The main event will take place in Givat HaEitam near Efrat, where activists plan to start construction on a new synagogue, and many will stay the night.  The march to Givat HaEitam from the nearby city of Efrat will begin at noon.  Once marchers reach Givat HaEitam, there will be picnics, music, and activities for children.
