A train smashed into a private car in Beersheva Wednesday evening but no one was hurt.
The car's driver apparently tried to cross the railway just as the barrier was coming down and despite the fact that the red light was on. He failed to complete the crossing and managed to get out of his car before the train hit it.
The train's driver saw the car and braked but hit the car and dragged it for several dozen meters before coming to a stop.
