The gag order regarding the police's latest probe against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will be lifted by Friday, Channel 1 has reported.

According to the report, the police have advanced far enough in the investigation to allow the gag order to be lifted.

The suspicions against Olmert and his former Bureau Chief Shula Zaken will be made public and the hitherto unnamed foreign citizen involved in the case will be identified after Independence Day, according to the report.
