A three judge panel in the Great Rabbinical Court has determined that all conversions to Judaism performed by Rabbi Chaim Druckman since 5759 (1999) are null and void. Rabbi Druckman heads the State's Conversion Array.

The panel made the decision in a case involving a woman who converted 15 years ago but was recently found, during her divorce proceedings, not to be keeping the Jewish commandments (mitzvot).

Rabbi Druckman told Arutz Sheva that the decision was made against the opinion of the Chief Sephardic Rabbi and the Head of the Great Rabbinical Court, Shlomo Amar. "Three judges from the Great Rabbinical Court sat down and wrote a wicked screed that has no connection with truth and justice," he said.
