(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will be interrogated Friday on new suspicions regarding his activities before he was elected Prime Minister, daily newspaper Yediot Acharonot reported. Olmert's former bureau director, Shula Zaken, was also interrogated on this subject earlier this week.

This is said to be a "new" scandal; one that was hitherto unsuspected but came up during the investigation of the "older" suspicions against Olmert.

Shula Zaken was interrogated for several hours on Tuesday at the police's National Fraud Investigations Unit offices in Bat Yam, regarding the latest suspicions and the urgency of summoning Olmert to be interrogated Friday was reportedly due to a concern that she and Olmert would coordinate their versions regarding the suspicions.
