--Former Knesset Member Azmi Bishara allegedly tipped off Hizbullah that Israel was planning to assassinate Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah, security officials revealed after a gag order on the charges against him was lifted. He is charged with having received several hundred thousand dollars from Hizbullah for delivering intelligence information during the Second War in Lebanon last summer. He received money in envelopes, and one example was cited of his depositing $50,000 in a Jordanian bank. Officials did not reveal from which country the money came. Bishara fled the country last month and is not expected to return. He faces life imprisonment or the death penalty if convicted of the charges.
