"After thousands of years, the Jewish nation is carrying a defensive sword," Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Wednesday. "The yellow badge has gone from an inmate's garment to a Magen David etched on fighter jets, and into great military might which is our pride," she added.

Livni was speaking at a Holocaust remembrance ceremony at the Masua Institute for Holocaust Studies at Kibbutz Tel Yitzchak.
