Pope Meets Iranian Intellectuals

(IsraelNN.com) Pope Benedict XVI met Iranian intellectuals Wednesday evening and discussed matters pertaining to the tension between Christians and Muslims all over the world.
"Neither reason nor faith should serve as a justification for violence," Benedict said. "Unfortunately," he added, "both are often used in order to perpetrate it."
Two years ago, the Pope made a speech in Germany in which he linked Islam with violence and unreasonable behavior.
