Former US Vice President and presidential candidate Al Gore will speak at Tel Aviv University's upcoming conference on renewable energy.

Gore will be presented with the Dan David Prize for "his enormous contribution to heightening international awareness relating to preservation of the environment and prevention of a global ecological disaster," organizers say.
