Value of Israeli Property Estimated at $428 Billion

(IsraelNN.com) The value of property held by private companies and individuals is estimated at more than 1.48 trillion shekels ($428 billion), according to figures from the Finance Ministry, Bank of Israel and the Central Bureau of Statistics cited by Globes. The figures exclude government-owned property as well as assets owned by commercial banks.
 
Land accounted for 30 percent of the total value of homes, whose value increased by 4.7 percent in 2007 compared with the previous year.
