American Jews are scrambling to find vanishing matzo during the Passover holiday, which lasts through Sunday night outside of Israel, wherein the festival is celebrated only seven days. Problems in factories may be behind the shortage, which has forced some consumers to travel miles to find stores that are not sold out of the unleavened bread.
"The first shipment we had was a month ago, and we never got another one," New York City area supermarket manager Frantz Baptiste told The New York Times.
