Support for Terrorism Grows in PA (IsraelNN.com) Support for terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians is growing among Arab residents of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, according to a poll conducted by the Jerusalem Media and Communications Center. Researchers questioned 1,190 Palestinian Authority Arabs and found that over 50 percent support bombing attacks on Israelis, as opposed to 44.8 percent in June of 2006 and 48 percent in September 2006. Support for terrorist attacks was significantly higher in Gaza than in Judea and Samaria. Over 65 percent of Gaza Arabs said they supported terrorist bombings, while 42.3 percent of PA Arabs in Judea and Samaria said the same. Almost 40 percent of respondents supported rocket attacks from Gaza as “useful,” while approximately 35 percent said the attacks were “harmful” to Arab interests. ![]() © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
