Israeli officials fear that the United States will sell advanced military technology to Saudi Arabia, according to the Jerusalem Post.  Officials said the US might agree to provide Saudi Arabia with stealth-enabled Joint Strike Fighter jets, known as the F-35 Lightening II.

Officials said Israel would respond by requesting permission to buy technologies even more advanced than those requested by the Saudis.  Among the technologies Israel wants are laser-guided smart bombs designed by Boeing and the F-22 Raptor, currently the world’s most advanced stealth fighter jet.
