Israelis feel that the economy is declining and security is faltering because of the leadership's weakness, Opposition Leader and Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu said at a Likud party Pesach holiday toast in Tel Aviv.
"We all know the truth," said Netanyahu: "When the IDF leaves – Hamas enters. That is exactly what will happen if Olmert continues to blindly push forward the retreat agreement, which is now called the 'shelf agreement.'"
Netanyahu called upon Shas to leave the coalition. "I don't understand what Shas is doing in the government. Leave the government!" he said.
