Arab terrorists threw several Molotov cocktail bombs at army soldiers patrolling Thursday night near Tulkarm, located several miles east of Netanya. No damage was reported. Tulkarm was one of the first cities where the Palestinian Authority was supposed to take over security with the promise that it would curtail terror.

At the checkpoint near Kalkilya, adjacent to Kfar Saba, soldiers arrested three men with improvised weapons and ammunition. Near Jenin, soldiers arrested one wanted terrorist.
