Israel temporarily cut off fuel supplies to Gaza after a brazen attack on the very depot terminal used to deliver the humanitarian fuel supplies to the region's Palestinian Authority Arab residents, including the terrorists who murdered two workers there.

It is unlikely the situation will last for long, however; Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai indicated deliveries of fuel supplies would resume within the next few days, telling Army Radio on Thursday, "We have an obligation to prevent a humanitarian disaster in Gaza."

Last month alone, some 6,954,014 liters of fuel and 3,394 tons of heating gas were delivered to Gaza residents through the Nachal Oz Crossing.
