The Dor Alon Energy company, which supplies fuel to Gaza, did not place guards at the Nahal Oz fuel depot, where Islamic Jihad terrorists killed two Israelis Wednesday afternoon. Dor Alon denied reports that the IDF had demanded the company place guards at the crossing, as other private companies have done at other Gaza transfer points. The company claimed that the IDF was responsible for posting guards at Nahal Oz.
Arabs who coordinate transfers of fuel informed Israel that terrorists had infiltrated but the warning came too late. The terrorists shot the two men, one of whom was inside a fuel truck and the other who was standing outside.
