(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ariel Sharon underwent a cranial CT scan in Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem following a surgical procedure to replace a piece of his skull. The surgery was necessitated by the Prime Minister's undergoing a number of neurosurgical procedures after suffering a major hemorrhagic stroke.

--Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is to be declared permanently incapacitated, officially ending his term as Prime Minister of Israel. After suffering a debilitating stroke and falling into a coma on January 4, 2006, the 78-year-old Sharon was declared temporally incapacitated.
