One of the female employees who accused former President Moshe Katzav of sexual assault demanded Tuesday that her accusations be included in the new indictment that Katzav will face after rejecting a plea bargain.  The woman’s charges were dropped from the original indictment after Attorney General Menachem Mazuz decided that her testimony was not sufficiently reliable.

The woman, known to the public only as “Aleph,” accused Katzav of rape, the most serious charge he faced.  Her spokesman said Tuesday that she was happy to hear that Katzav had rejected the plea bargain agreement, but had planned to file a civil suit against him in any case.  “As far as we’re concerned, he would have stood trial for his actions anyway,” he said.
