Palestinian Authority sources in Shechem said Tuesday that six people had been wounded in a gunfight between PA officers and escaped terrorists from Fatah’s Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades. The terrorists escaped a local prison earlier in the week.
The terrorists originally entered prison willingly after being sentenced to three months in jail as part of a deal to remove their names from Israel’s “wanted” list. They decided to escape following an argument with guards.
