Gaydamak's Party to Enter Knesset Way Before Elections (IsraelNN.com) Arkadi Gaydamak's Social Justice party is reportedly not going to wait until elections to enter the Knesset. Three members of the Pensioners Party are expected to break away from their faction next week to join Gaydamak's party. The new faction will become official on April 18, according to preliminary reports. One of its members will have the ability to become a government minister - including Gaydamak himself, who said he would consider being Minister of Jerusalem or Diaspora Affairs. Gaydamak reportedly hopes to woo MKs from the other factions as well to his party, bringing it to a projected 18 seats by the time elections take place. The Pensioners MKs joining are Moshe Sharoni, Elchanan Glazer and Sara Marom-Shalev. ![]() © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
