The Biblical Moses of the Hollywood screen, Charlton Heston, died Saturday night at the age of 84 with his wife Lydia at his side, said his family in a statement Sunday morning.
Heston became a strong supporter and eventual president of the National Rifle Association lobbyist organization. The top Oscar award-winning star of the silver screen played the role of Moses in the movie, "The Ten Commandments," characterizing the Bibilical personality for generations of Americans.
