Arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti, who some Israeli politicians see as a strong leader who could help in peace talks, said over the weekend that “the Annapolis conference is dead.” In an interview with the Italian paper La Stampa, Barghouti accused Israel of causing the failure of the latest round of peace talks.
Among other things, Barghouti accused Israel of “strangling the Palestinian economy” and “Judaizing Jerusalem.” Palestinian Authority Arabs are “at a crossroads,” with Israel “trying to break us with aggressive policies,” he said.
