Security forces attempted to evict Jews who have staying at Homesh on Friday night, after the onset of Shabbat. Those living at the site were able to evade the soldiers, and were able to remain over Shabbat. A second attempted was made by security forces on Saturday night after the end of Shabbat. That attempt failed as well.

“Despite the repeated attempts to evict us, entailing desecration of the Sabbath by security forces, there is a constant presence at Homesh,” said a spokesperson for the Homesh residents.
