Maryland's Senate Approves Divestment From Iran

(IsraelNN.com) The Senate of the State of Maryland unanimously approved an Iran divestment bill on April 1, requiring state pension funds to divest from businesses doing more than $20 million in business with Iran's energy sector per year.   According to the Baltimore Jewish Times, a similar measure is also under consideration in Maryland's House of Representatives.

Several states have already passed similar laws in regard to divesting from Iran.
