Pro-Israel evangelist Pastor John Hagee is scheduled to appear at the city of Ariel in Samaria Thursday night to express his support for the Jewish state. Hagee recently backed Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain.
The city of Ariel will hold a special event "to honor those who honor Israel." Hagee and Christian fundamentalists have been active in supporting Ariel, and a new sports and recreation building will be dedicated in Hagee's name.
