According to a poll conducted by the British Broadcasting Company, Israel is one of the most unpopular countries on earth.  The only country that more respondents viewed negatively was Iran. 

Approximately 17,000 people in 34 countries were asked for their views on 14 countries, including Israel, Iran, the United States, and the European Union. 54 percent said they held "mostly negative' views of Iran, while 52 percent said they had a negative view of Israel. 

Israel’s results improved slightly from last year, when 57 percent of respondents said they viewed the country in a negative light.
