IAF officials announced Monday night that experts had discovered carcinogenic material in two more F-16 airplanes. The material was first discovered in a single plane several days ago.
Twenty planes have been inspected, and experts have concluded that seven are free of carcinogens, while three had carcinogenic material near the pilot’s seat. IAF Commander Eliezer Shkedi has ordered pilots to stop training in the F-16 aircraft until the issue is resolved.
