Hamas leader, Khaled Meshaal, renewed claims that kidnapped Solider Gilad Shalit is alive and well, on Sunday. During an interview with Britain's Sky News television, Meshaal said, "We (Hamas) are treating him (Gilad Shalit) well."  He went on to say that Hamas considers Israelis living in Judea, Samaria, and the eastern neighborhoods of Jerusalem to be "military targets."

During the interview Meshaal also stated that Hamas believes the Holocaust was overstated to justify the existence and actions of Israel. "We don't deny the Holocaust, but we believe the Holocaust was exaggerated by the Zionist movement to use as a whip," he said.

Meshaal conducted the interview from an undisclosed location in Damascus. He has lived in Syrian since a botched Israeli attempt to eliminate him in Jordan.
