Tel Aviv Approves New Building Projects (IsraelNN.com) Several new plans for building are in the works in southern Tel Aviv, an indicator of growth and expansion on Israel's western coast. Among the plans approved by the Tel Aviv Local Planning and Building Commission is the construction of offices at the Heresh compound along the Ayalon highway. Divided between two lots, the plan will allow for the building of up to six 15-40 storey buildings in one lot, and up to seven 10-35 storey buildings on the other. The Tel commission also approved a plan for a vacate-and-build project along Levinsky Street, near the new Central Bus Station. The plan includes two 30-storey mixed-use high-rises with residences on the upper floors. Several old industrial and commercial buildings will be taken down to make room for the new project. ![]() © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
