(IsraelNN.com) Members of the Teachers Union who teach in Tel Aviv elementary schools will strike for two hours on Monday morning.  Teachers are protesting recent violent attacks in local schools.

Teachers and school administrative staff in Tel Aviv have reported three violent attacks in the past month.  A student’s mother attacked a principal in the Kfir Elementary School last week, and the union decided to strike in response.  Teachers will spend the two-hour strike in a meeting to discuss the issue of violence in schools and potential solutions.
