(IsraelNN.com) Hundreds of Arabs marched through the main streets of Yafo (Jaffa) Friday and carried large PLO flags to mark "Land Day." The Arabs chanted "from Yafo to the Galilee, we are one nation and will not leave our lands" and other nationalist slogans. According to Arutz 7, a Jewish family was attacked and had to be hospitalized by the Arab mob. Despite this, about 250 police who are present are allowing the march to proceed and providing it with security.

The marchers were led by MKs Ibrahim Sarsur and Muhammad Barakeh, as well as Sheikh Raad Salah of the Northern Islamic Movement.

The speakers claimed that Yafo's Arab residents were victims of an "economic transfer" and that 500 Arab families have been issued eviction notices.
