Magen David Adom spokesman Yerucham Mendola denied Friday that MDA volunteers ate pork for over a month in the kitchen that serves them and is also used by hareidi-religious Ichud Hatzala volunteers.

"This was a one-time incident that happened about a year ago, when an employee ate unkosher food on a plate in the dining room. After he was approached regarding this, the incident never repeated itself."
