(IsraelNN.com) Reuters News Agency has removed a link to an anti-Israel blog that referred to the Jewish state as the "Zionist regime" and the separation barrier as the "Apartheid Wall." The blog also claimed that Israeli soldiers were ordered to "kill peaceful Palestinian protestors."

The blog was removed after protests from the Honest Reporting organization. Reuters routinely files reports that are biased against Israel and regularly distributes a United Nations report blaming Israel for the deteriorating social and economic situation in Gaza.

Other news agencies continue to disseminate false information that is critical of Israel. A recent photo distributed by the French news agency AFP contains the caption, "File photo shows a trench being dug as part of an archaeological dig in the Al-Aqsa mosque compound." However, the trench shown in the picture actually is one that was dug by the Palestinian Authority during unsupervised work that resulted in the removal of debris that included artifacts from the Temple Mount.
