Update: Arab Sniper Wounds Kibbutz Worker

One man was injured be shrapnel in his eye by Arab sniper fire at Kibbutz Ein HaShlosha Wednesday morning, near the Gaza region. The bullet ricocheted after hitting a nearby water tank.

The shooting attack and the firing of at least three Kassam rockets on the western Negev bore out a warning Tuesday evening from Israel Ambassador to the United Nations Dan Gillerman. He said the "bombs keep ticking" during the brief lull of attacks on Israel. "Hamas is using this time to smuggle in and produce more rockets," he explained. "Building rockets is not a [a policy of] calm. It is a silent promise--a promise of what is to come next: more terror and more violence, more extremism and more bloodshed."
