Egyptian officials announced Tuesday that they were transporting 126 wounded Gaza Arabs to Turkey for treatment.  The patients were wounded during Israeli counterterrorism operations in Gaza, particularly the recent “Hot Winter” operation aimed at fighting rocket attacks on Israeli towns.

The wounded were allowed into Egypt weeks ago after Gaza doctors complained they were not equipped to handle all of the wounded.
