(IsraelNN.com) A businessman from the Israeli Arab city of Taibe has decided to offer an expensive prize to parents who give birth in the upcoming week and name their child “Mohammed.”  The initiative is part of the “Week of Support and Love for the Prophet Mohammed” announced by the southern branch of the Islamic Movement.

The businessman said he would give parents of newborn “Mohammeds” a complete set of bedroom furniture for the new baby.  Leaders of the Islamic Movement called the prize offer “a blessed initiative that provides a response to the caricatures against the prophet and the crude defamation campaign that continues despite harsh condemnations.”
