US Vice President Dick Cheney met with Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas in the Samarian city of Ramallah on Sunday.
Cheney arrived by helicopter from Jerusalem at approximately 11:30 a.m., with security in Ramallah extremely tight, according to an AFP news agency reporter. PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad also attended the talks.
