Report: Egypt Torturing Hamas Terrorists

(IsraelNN.com) Hamas claimed Saturday that Egypt tortured several of its members, demanding to know the whereabouts of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. A report by the BBC said that 39 Hamas terrorists being held in Egypt have undergone torture recently by the Egyptians, who demanded to know details on Hamas' operations in Gaza as well as Shalit's location.
There was no comment from the Egyptians, the report said. Ninety Hamas terrorists have been freed by Egypt in recent weeks, it said. The Hamas terrorists were captured in recent months in Egypt after Hamas breached the border on the Philadelphia Route, allowing hundreds of thousands of Gaza Arabs into Sinai.
