(IsraelNN.com) The Holy City of Jerusalem is celebrating Purim with a three-day festival this year. Friday morning, a "happening" for families will be held on Mamila Avenue. On Saturday evening, after the Sabbath, events for youth and students will be held throughout the city, and the main Shushan Purim event will take place Sunday morning and early afternoon in Kikar Tzion.

Besides musical performances and stand-up comedy shows throughout the city, there will also be city-sponsored events for the hareidi-religious population, including theater shows, singing performances, a Hassidic puppet theater and workshops.
