Report: No Blame in Death of Soldier

An IDF captain who was appointed to study the death of Tamir Nebuani, along the Egyptian border Tuesday, has found that commanders were not responsible for the young soldier’s death.  Nebuani died after falling from a cliff during a navigation exercise with the Sayeret Matkal, one of the IDF’s top units.

Nebuani was a resident of the Druze village of Kfar Julis, and was the first member of the Druze community to join the Sayeret Matkal.  His father Nuaf said Friday that he does not blame the army for Tamir’s death.
